UYBSL Weather Policy

Practices: Practice may not be held if the temperature is below 50 degrees outside or if the Heat Index reaches 102 degrees or more. This is a common senses rule….if it is 48 degree outside but the un is shining and it feels pleasant then you may practice but if it is 55 degrees outside, cloudy and windy then please cancel. This rule was put into place taking into consideration that most parents have more then one child to take care of etc. The Executive Board will monitor all weather related issues and communicate with parents and coaches if practices need to be cancelled.

Please keep in mind there might be many reasons we cancel as a league. Things such as weather, illness, community events, etc.

Games: Weather condition and air temperatures will be monitored by Officials during the season. If the conditions are unsafe games will be cancelled accordingly.

Photography Policy

No one is allowed on the field during the game except players, coaches, and officials. If your team would like to have a photographer attend a game for action shots please reach out to a Board Member for permission before-hand.
